The coast of Planargia is a scenic line dotted by the imposing bulk of several defensive XV and XVI century towers of Spanish memory, from Torre Argentina to the north to the one of Columbargia to the south, and concluded by the basalt rocks and islets of Corona Niedda, the homonymous Nature Reserve. Of absolute charm in the area, there is also the environment of the Mannu River, which flows to tip Foghe after passing through a narrow and deep valley.
To the south of Bosa Marina and after the small coves and the beach of Turas, you can enjoy a coastal environment of great beauty, with high cliffs of dark trachytic rocks overlooking the unpolluted sea, stretches of low coast and then the wide and solitary beaches by the nearby seaside resorts of Noesala of Magomadas and Porto Alabe of Tresnuraghes.
To the north of Bosa opens up an absolutely charming and original marine ecosystem with numerous secluded coves and small beaches, that can be easily reached by sea or taking access from the parkway along the Bosa Alghero panoramic coastal road. Among the many of them, we suggest a visit to the beaches of S’Abba Drucche, Compoltitu and Torre Argentina.
The northern coastline it’s mostly rocky, with majestic cliffs that reach up to 248 meters above sea level. It’s an habitat that expresses its spectacular beauty in the silohuette of the rock shaped and smoothed by the mistral wind, as well as in the superb and exciting contrasts between the different shades of trachyte and the Mediterranean maquis or in the absolute silence that surrounds the old and lonely shepherds and folds the gliding flight of the griffon vultures.
